"I don't know where it went."

I sat on the porch steps watching her and thinking how free and innocent she is. It's been a long time since I felt that way. But, I do remember being her age (or maybe a little older) and chasing dragonflies also. But, eventually we all have to grow up.
We finally went inside when the mosquitos got too bad.

Your daughter is such a little cutie!
I still chase dragonflies and butterflies, I don't use a net anymore, just the camera. I guess that is the adult version. I hope I never get to old for the fascination of little creatures.
i remember chasing dragonflies in the backyard. There seemed to be hundreds of them swooping around. But be careful, they can bite (pinch really) if you catch them. trust me.
Robin - I never thought about chasing them with the camera. I think I'd still have my daughter's problem - they're too fast.
Allison - I'll remember that.
I can attest to Allison's warning - I have been "bitten" by a dragonfly. It stopped my pursuit. :)
